| 1st quarter
Richmond started off the scoring with a poster followed closely with
a goal.
It was a tight contest for the ball. The Roys laid some great tackles
and took some fantastic marks. But Richmond scored again. Tigers gave
away some cheap free kicks
2nd quarter
Richmond scored a point then a goal in the first five minutes. Fitzroy
played some good footy but the tigers scored twice. Roys weren’t
playing as hard as they should or, as Gary said, they were in Dixieland.
At half time the score was 38-0.
3rd quarter
The Roys weren’t concentrating as the Tigers capitalised with
a goal. Roys didn’t man up and stayed back too much. Tigers
kept on going and continued to win possession. Ollie got a knock to
the head and was down for a bit.
4th quarter
Fitzroy toughened up last quarter and got back into their rhythm.
They got the ball into their fifty for the second time and Simon scored
a GOOOAAAAALLL. Fitzroy scored again this time it was Jack! The final
score was 67-12.
Congratulations to Ben for his 50th game. Happy Birthday to Gabe.
Great first game for Jeremy and a big welcome to the team for Christopher.
